  MORE ABOUT THE TRAINING

As a Combat Medic, it is very important to maintain and renew knowledge and skills with additional, new developments in the field of expertise. AFG offers a two-week currency training for this purpose to their partners.

In two weeks, participants are trained through realistic scenarios to keep up with the latest developments and practice within the tactical medical field.

After completing this training course, participants have their Certificate of Competence (BC code) extended for a whole year, which increases the operational deployability of the unit.

  WHO IS IT FOR?

PARTICIPANTS

This course is suitable for military personnel who hold the Combat Medic Certificate of Competence.

BOTH TRAINING INSTITUTES AND OPERATIONAL UNITS

AFG agrees with both Training Institutes and Operational Units on the exact content of the training programme. Both can provide the training. This training is suitable for Operational Units of the Dutch Ministry of Defence, the Police and its NATO partners.

  • Where: External training, carried out by AFG, on location or at our own training centre. This course is in accordance with the internationally recognised doctrines of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC). 
  • Duration: 2 weeks.

The training programme includes the following subjects:

  • Refreshing Combat Medic procedures and protocols;
  • Reviewing theoretical knowledge of Combat Medic and discussing the latest developments;
  • Training practical skills Combat Medic;
  • Practising various challenging scenarios.
